For how much she's mischaracterized or used as WASTED potential in the game itself, Ei's character is something that I find really interesting. To start this off with, she's an HONORABLE person and holds RESPECT for many individuals. While she had grown up with her sister, MAKOTO, the two were different within personalities.Unlike Makoto, Ei was more on the small side of being RECKLESS and STUBBORN at times. The two had opposing idea's of what "ETERNITY" should be, but they still got along regardless. However, after some time, Makoto had died and it left Ei with much GRIEF and PAIN; which had caused her to grow DISTANT and BITTER with the passing century.Because of this, it lead Ei to believe that Inazuma was better off to be in a state of CONSTANT TRANQUILITY, and began the start of two decrees, better known as the VISION HUNT DECREE and the SAKOKU DECREE. During this time, Ei had been stuck mentally in the past and was unable to witness the changes of life after a millennia due to her EVERLASTING GRIEF. Her mind had been broken for a long time, but she has promised herself to achieve an ETERNITY for herself while her peers remain unchanged.
